Health Promotion Ontario 23rd Annual Conference
Taking Action on the Built Environment: Building Healthy Public Policy
On September 23, 2010, Health Promotion Ontario (HPO) had an unprecedented attendance at our 23rd Annual HPO Conference which this year was focused on Food Security and the Social Determinants of Health.
This year’s 2010 HPO Conference was held in collaboration with the Ontario Public Health Association (OPHA), and was in the planning for many months. Attendees came from a wide range of disciplines and organizations, some being key leaders in health promotion. There was a good cross section of health promotion professionals working in Health Units, Community Health Centres, Academia.
Thanks to our Conference Planning Committee and all the others along the way who helped with the planning of this event. The evaluations are being tabulated to help plan for future HPO conferences.
